HOW DO OUR PASSES WORK?
The Firehall Arts Centre offers different types of passes – Full Packs or Flex Packs. They are valid for use for any show in the Firehall season (not applicable for rental productions). There is special discount pricing for both seniors (65+) and patrons under 30 years of age. All Pass Holders receive free ticket exchanges (with at least 24 hour notice) and a complimentary membership to the Firehall Theatre Society.
Full Pack allows one patron to see many different shows. As well, each pass holder is issued one Bring-A-Friend voucher*, good for one guest ticket to a single performance. This pass is great for regular theatre-goers.
Flex Pack is, in essence, a bulk ticket pack – it provides a patron with several tickets to use as they see fit, whether it be two tickets to a few different shows, or all the tickets for a large group going to see a single show** (pending availability). This is a great way for a couple, or a group of friends, to enjoy a night out.
*Please note: Bring-A-Friend Vouchers are only valid for regular price and senior 4 & 6 Full Packs (does not include Early Bird Passes, Flex Passes, or Under 30 Full Pack Passes).
- What do the numbers “4” and “6” mean?
Those are the amounts of tickets you get per pass (either 4 tickets or 6 tickets)
- What’s the difference between a “Full” Pack and a “Flex” Pack?
Full Pack – allows one patron to book one ticket per show (designed for one patron to enjoy multiple shows themselves)
Flex Pack – allows a patron to attend many performances or many patrons to attend a few performances (mix and match as you please – some restrictions apply)
- What Passes do I get a “bring-a-friend” voucher and how does that work?
Both Full Packs (regular, not early bird) and Full Pack: Senior come with a “BAF” voucher. This voucher is for you to “bring a friend” along to one of the shows you attend, for free.
- Who counts as a Senior?
Anyone who is 65 years and older
- What does “Under 30s” mean?
We’re trying to encourage the younger generation to come out to see live theatre. We also recognize that in this day and age it can be tricky to have a steady income when you’re younger, therefore we offer a reduced priced pass. Please note: this pass does not come with a “bring a friend” voucher.
- What does “Artist” mean? Who does it apply to?
As with our Under 30s patrons, we can appreciate that having a steady income as an artist is difficult, so we wanted to give you the reduced price on passes. Are you an artist? “Artist” is anyone who is making their living from art full time. If you’re not sure if this applies to you, give us a call.
This is an easy way to give someone a dollar amount of your choosing to be used towards any of our productions. You can choose any amount you wish – we recommend selecting a dollar amount that reflects our ticket prices (eg. $66 for two $33 weekend tickets, or $112for four $28 weekday tickets). Gift certificates can be purchased in person, over the phone, or online – click here to use our online ticketing system.

How do I Reserve?
You may reserve your performance dates on your pass for any or all of the plays in the season at any time. Simply choose the date(s) in our season then call us (604-689-0926) or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also use your pass when booking tickets using our online ticketing system – you can get started by clicking here. Due to the size of our theatre, we strongly advise you to reserve your dates as early as possible. There is no charge if you have to change your reservation, but you must give us 24 hours notice.
What if I can’t attend a performance?
If you will miss a performance, give us a call at our box office. We will put the ticket back on your pass to be used at a future date. Please note that we will not provide exchanges for performances that have already occurred – we need 24 hours notice prior to the start time of the performance.
