The Pigeon and the Dove A history of hatred and love. Written by Carolyn Victoria Mill Operatic Panic Attack Operatic Panic Attack is TJ Dawe’s autobiographical monologue about being a theatre student, discovering that there’s more to opera than non-sensical warbling, and being stomped to the ground by panic attacks. "Dawe has storytelling down to a fine art" - Vancouver Sun Written and Performed by TJ Dawe | Crowded Solo (Working Title) by Alejandra Miranda “So we do everything possible to preserve our lives and the structure of our plane” Charlotte Joko Beck This collaboration was inspired by Charlotte Joko Becks´ book in Zen teachings “Nothing Special”. We explored what some of these Zen teachings might inspire in a dancer’s brain when asked to preserve attention to the present moment and how this would create an interesting relationship with time and space. We explored safe falling using gravitational force with the purpose of observing how our fears preserve us from experiencing direct relationships with our environment. We also felt this was a great opportunity to collaborate with video, projections and dance; it gave us the opportunity to play around and allow creativity for all artists involved. This is a very first exploration and a work in progress. House and Home by Jenn Griffin House and Home is a biting, comic take on our current real estate crisis. Now, some years later, with both of their livelihoods in shambles, they are house rich and cash poor, fending off a desperate realtor, recovering from a rat infestation, and their long-suffering basement tenant is threatening to move out. As they abandon their values and plunge into the world of short-term rentals, how far can they go to keep their house?
