EAST END BLUES & ALL THAT JAZZ
Vancouver Moving Theatre production and Downtown Eastside Heart of the City Festival presentation
East End Blues & All That Jazz, by the late Denis Simpson and Savannah Walling, is a soul-stirring evening of gospel and blues, jazz and memories, and remarkable historical photos that pays tribute to the life and inspirational contributions of the historic East End Black residential community and the legendary Gibson family.
“…a true masterpiece… huge heart and unforgettable music…beautifully and brilliantly portrayed”.
James Johnstone (Historian)
