Last seen in Vancouver at the 2011 Dancing on the Edge Festival with the sold out show Quiet, Israeli choreographer Arkadi Zaides and his company are back with Land-Research.
Zaides presents the individual voices of five performers from different backgrounds as they explore their inner relationship with the broad idea of land. Performed as five solos, the dancers approach their bodies as a private landscape, shaped and challenged by its surroundings.

Workshop with Choreographer Arkadi Zaides
Join us Saturday April 27th @ the Firehall Arts Centre
During Arkadi Zaides’ studies in the Amsterdam Master of Choreography program, he continues his exploration and observations regarding the influence of the socio-political situation on the body in general and specifically on the local body in Israel. In the workshop Arkadi will be happy to share some of those observations and expose the thinking and creative process both through discussion and practice.
