Legendary Kid in the Hall Bruce McCulloch returns to Vancouver for a special ONE NIGHT ONLY performance of his hit live show, Young Drunk Punk, which chronicles his journey from his wild early days as a ‘young punk’ in 80’s Alberta, to his flannel plaid days in 90’s Toronto, to becoming a ‘pajama-clad dad’ in the Hollywood Hills. This hilarious evening of stand-up, live music and assorted autobiographical insights peppered with moments of surprising poignancy, proves that although this infamous Kid may be all grown up, his singular brand of humour and signature wit remain firmly intact.

“a definitive image of McCulloch, at once the silliest and most cynical of the Kids” – NOW Magazine, Toronto

“dark, raunchy, surreal and hilarious, often all at once… McCulloch’s comic rhythm has become a familiar friend, and seeing it employed live is a treat.” Erika Thorkelson, Vancouver Sun

“triumphant… a great, comedy-gold night” Mike Usinger, Georgia Straight

A Firehall Arts Centre and the Cultch co-presentation at the York Theatre.

Written and performed by Bruce McCulloch. Featuring special guest Brian Connelly.

Directed by Blake Brooker.
