Gary Farmer & Friends featuring Lacey Hill, Murray Porter & Derek Miller

When we found out that there were going to be 4 award-winning Six Nations musicians in town at the same time, we thought, “Why not put on a show?” So, it’s going to happen on Sunday, March 2 at 8:00 pm, at the Firehall Arts Centre. The show will be hosted by legendary actor, Gary Farmer who’s in-town shooting his next season of ‘Resident Alien’. He’s also a musician with his own band of ‘Troublemakers’ including Derek Miller on guitar, Shakti Hayes on bass, and Richard Brown on drums. Also sharing their tunes will be: Blue Man, Murray Porter on soulful vocals and keyboards; the dynamic Lacey Hill on guitar; Indig Rocker Derek Miller brings some of his new music to the stage. Then to wrap up the evening, Gary Farmer & The Troublemakers will play some very cool original music…AND you can bet, there will be a Jam to end all Jams happening! Be sure to join us!

We’re Grateful to Be Here.

The Firehall Arts Centre is located on the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations where they lived and gathered together for thousands of years. Acknowledging their connections to these lands is a significant part of what the Firehall considers when choosing the productions and presentations we undertake and how that work shapes and impacts those around us. We ask our community to reflect on what being present here means to you and those around you.
